About Subir Verma

As an applied scientist, I derive great satisfaction from translating research concepts into practical applications. Over the past few years, my primary focus has been on natural language understanding, vector search and ranking, recommendation systems, and reinforcement learning. I employ Python in conjunction with robust MLOps frameworks such as Airflow, Snowflake, Docker, AWS/Azure, and FastAPI.My approach is pragmatic: I commence with small experiments, meticulously monitor the outcomes, and allow them to guide subsequent iterations. I find great pleasure in collaborating with engineers and product managers, designing comprehensive experiments, and providing mentorship to my colleagues whenever feasible.
