About Stephen B. Murray
Legal Intern at Sonoco Products Co (NYSE: SON) with experience in a wide variety of legal and compliance matters including contracts, litigation, labor & employment, economic develpment, and real estate. During my first semester at University of South Carolina School of Law, I created one of the most impactful organizations on campus, the Business Law Association (BLA). As Founder & President of BLA, I’m excited to lead panel discussions with prominent in-house lawyers and attorneys from prestigious law firms. I was selected to serve as a member of the Board of Executives and Editor of the South Carolina Journal of International Law and Business, and I enjoy managing exceptional research and writing standards. Additionally, I edited the latest version of the South Carolina Corporate Practice Manual. I focused on corporate governance under Title 33, which provided me valuable insight and experience in business/corporate law. I believe passion and persistence breeds success, and I cultivate strong work ethic and work daily to improve discipline and good habits.
