I am currently on a rotational assignment to the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) OIG. I am working with the senior executive leadership team to enhance their strategic plan and implementation processes. During my tenure at DHS OIG, I have worked on some of the most impactful security issues facing our nation including the attempted presidential assassination, immigration, airport security, and the security of soft targets and crowded places. I have managed a team of up to ten geographically dispersed personnel through 9 highly analytical, complex, and sensitive audits. These projects captured Congressional interest and media coverage. I have issued 24 recommendations that saved taxpayers millions of dollars and improved national security across multiple DHS components.
