During my career have worked upon building tools and experiences for engineering teams which facilitate ease of debugging when it comes to understanding regressions.Have worked upon bootstrapping multiple projects from scratch and scaling them from a few hundred requests per month to 100 thousands requests per month.Some of my achievements include- Scaling Red Hat Satellite from being able to manage 30K hosts to >100K hosts across data centers in a single deployment- Building and scaling the Centralized profiling infrastructure at LinkedIn currently serving >100K requests per month- Bootstrapping and leading efforts which drove us to build a first of its kind A/B test observability platform to provide analysis for >400 Trillion calls every single day going through A/B tests- Achieving savings worth more than USD $500K on recurring basis by simplifying Big Data analysis pipelines.

   Technical Lead for Observability - Profiling, Logging and Events- Designed the safety-net observability layer for the experimentation platform, automatically detecting anomalies at low ramp rates (130 incidents annually which happen due to A/B ramps, safeguarding user experience for millions of users. Further conducted multiple road shows to promote this platform, leading to a cultural shift where multiple teams adopted the A/B test observability platform as a go to platform before ramping the experiments to more members- Transformed the centralized profiling infrastructure to be highly self serviceable and reliable for usage across production, without the engineering teams requiring any onboarding steps. This lead to service profiling being used from sessions every month with usages across multiple high severity incidents to get to the root cause- With the company wide focus on reducing infrastructure costs and overhead, Identified inefficiencies and significant high costs associated to running a service exception discovery and reporting infrastructure and spearheaded an effort to merge the service exception discovery and reporting with logging infrastructure to reduce effort duplication and to improve the economics of the product. Projected to reduce the infrastructure costs of >$500K USD per year. This further improved the service reliability by making backend services more resilient in case of failures, by avoiding excessive exception logging which can lead to I/O storms- Rearchitecting the logging infrastructure to improve reliability, costs and user experience to make the platform more stable, self serviceable and cost efficient and provide a standardized stack that works across LinkedIn.
