Work with Service Users at multiple mental health hospitals in Sheffield across 9 Wards and also people within the community. I help support and advocate for my patients with whatever they need and see to their requests being filled within guidelines and limits. I support families by having meaningful conversations about any topic they feel comfortable sharing and create a safe space with them by providing activities and other material such as literature they request or helping them with getting information and signposting them to services who they could benefit from.I help staff by translating language for some patients and providing any information that can aid, and help some community members and service users to learn B1 level English, DVLA theory and lots more.What I do has a great impact and helps us aid those from different backgrounds creating an Intercultural space where everyone gets along.
