ABOUT SAYNA FARDARAGHI
Sayna Fardaraghi is an award-winning British-Persian director whose diverse and captivating work is marked by a dream-like cinematography and aesthetic; she has a strong visual identity that threads through all her films. Through her films, Sayna hopes to highlight with a sense of playfulness the little things in our everyday lives that are often overlooked. Her aim is to bring people together by exploring a feeling that we all relate to. There is a shared sense of understanding and relatability as her inspiration comes from personal experiences and conversations she has had with the people around her. Her recent short film \'Waiting\' won the Intel/Movidiam award for Best Director and accolades from revered filmmakers Barry Jenkins and Nicholas Britell. A new short Kindred is set for release in 2024. Sayna works regularly with Burberry, Charles Jeffrey, Dazed Digital, Isamaya Ffrench & Charlotte Tilbury among others.
