About Sayan Seth

I am an embedded systems and wireless firmware engineer specializing in WLAN PHY/RF & core platform software. Over the past 6+ years at Qualcomm, I’ve contributed to multiple generations of Low-Power Wi-Fi chips—building PHY/RF HAL layers from the ground up, bringing up complete Wi-Fi subsystems on emulation, and shaping the end-to-end firmware architecture across several silicon cycles.My experience spans RF calibration algorithms, factory test frameworks, bootloaders, build systems, power optimization, and board-level bring-up. I’ve also developed host-side tools, RF automation frameworks, and supported cross-functional teams ranging from silicon design to customer engineering.Earlier at Cypress Semiconductor, I worked on WLAN security and hardware crypto integration (WPA3). My academic background includes research in radar-based biomedical sensing, computer vision, FPGA-based accelerators, medical image analysis, and IoT prototyping—supported by peer-reviewed publications and a granted US patent.I enjoy building low-power systems, solving hardware–software integration problems, and working across the full lifecycle of wireless embedded products.
