As a senior full stack engineer at Western Union, I work on developing and maintaining scalable and secure web applications that enable fast and reliable money transfers across the globe. I use my expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST API, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript to create user-friendly and responsive interfaces, as well as robust and efficient back-end systems.Prior to joining Western Union in April 2023, I was a senior data engineer at Visa, where I contributed to optimizing business-to-business payments using cutting-edge technologies. I was involved in converting a monolithic application to microservices using REST API, and redesigning a few critical APIs for better performance. I also have experience as a software developer at Paycom, where I worked on various software development initiatives using agile and waterfall methodologies.I hold a Master of Science in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Arlington, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from University of Pune. I have also obtained multiple certifications in Microsoft.Net Applications and Oracle 10g:SQL. I am passionate about software development and always eager to learn new skills and technologies.
