   Management of product quality of iPhones manufactured in India- Includes quality assurance over assembly operation starting from incoming material to reliability testing of form factors- Major part of the job is Failure Analysis where quick resolution in high-speed high volume production environment is carried out using quality tools and data interpretation- Managing large teams of 50+ CM quality professionals and provide accurate directions on quality best practices in dynamic workspace- Working with global cross functional teams to ensure optimum product quality in sustaining and NPI projects- As a leading PQM and critical resource at Apple, I handle multiple responsibilities with quick actions, detailed analysis and problem solving skills- Supplier quality engineering is a part of my job where material issues are guided and corrected at the source through RCA at vendor sites and material from different vendors is qualified to use in production- Leading reliability testing under harsh environment of thermal and mechanical high stress iPhone may experience during product life span is carried out at the factories, results of which are the key for next builds in NPI- Ensuring assembly operations follow SOP\'s and POR, in-process quality tools such as audits, KAPA study, issue RCA, blind tests, simulation, containment and corrective actions are used as per my guidance- Heading outgoing quality control which ensures product shipped out from the factory is defect free, no cos/dim/fun testing failures occur in it and field returns are minimised- Apple has helped me develop my communication and presentation skills further to meet the standards of executives and top management- Gained knowledge of end-to-end iPhone assembly, test engineering and automation processes though various projects- Working closely with the USA and China teams to help India grow technical abilities and providing opportunities across India to skilled manpower.
