ABOUT SAYA KRISHNAN

I’m a 3rd-year BBA LL.B.(Hons.) student at SASTRA Deemed University, School of Law (Thanjavur campus), with a strong interest in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Technology Law, Contract Law, Human Rights, and International Law. I’m currently focused on building a well-rounded legal career through remote internships, certified training, research work, and practical academic involvement.At present, I’m pursuing the WIPO Intellectual Property Course, scheduled for completion in August 2025, to deepen my understanding of global IP systems. Alongside this, I am completing a remote legal internship, working on IP filings, research, and drafting assignments.In July 2025, I completed an Online IPR Internship cum Training Programme, which involved live weekend training sessions and weekly assignments on practical aspects of IP law such as trademark filing, copyright protection, and design registration.🧑‍ Internship Experience:Vintage Legal Research Internship (1 month) – Focused on in-depth legal research, structured writing, and analytical case study work.District Court Internship (3 months) – Gained exposure to court proceedings, client handling, and legal documentation.Webinar on Freelance Contract Drafting – Introduced me to practical aspects of drafting freelance agreements with legal precision. Career Goals: I aim to gain more remote legal internships focused on IP and contract law, while excelling in my academics. After completing my 5-year BBA LL.B.(Hons.) program, I plan to work as a legal assistant to an IP lawyer in the abroad, gaining industry experience and income.
