About Taurean T Thomas
I am a progressive thinker and a goal-oriented person that has served in the Southwest Detroit area since 1998 - as a consummate professional in organizations that are committed to actively communicating complex issues and ideas to Detroit residence. In my career life as an astute community leader and an outreach specialist, I have worked with the City of Detroit Mayor\'s office, Department of Neighborhoods, Department of Labor, and SER Metro where they built bridges between the community, businesses, and the local Government. I was also responsible for one of the first organized board up initiatives in the city of Detroit with SER Metro Detroit\'s YouthBuild program which aided the city’s efforts to abolish blight and restore its neighborhoods. I am a Detroit Michigan native. I received my Associate\'s Degree in Motion Picture Production, from Collins College in Tempe AZ and shortly followed by bachelors of communications from Arizona State\'s Walter Cronkite school of journalism and mass communications in Phoenix Arizona.
