Responsibilities for both managing and supporting all Production, Development and Staging instances for Oracle Version 10g,11g,12c & 19c. Monitoring the production Databases on Daily Basis. Working on Changes, Incidents and problem tickets to find RCA. Regularly tracking the database status on OEM. Constantly working with Oracle support to troubleshoot production issues. Rebuilding of Indexes and analyzing of tables to ensure good performance of database. Performance tuning at query, instance and database level by creating SQL profile/baselines. Migrating the data from one database to the other using RMAN and Export / Import Utility. Performing routine checks of space utilization and extended tablespaces by resizing/adding datafiles when needed. Exporting and Importing data using tools like Exp, Imp and Data pump. Applying patches using OPatch utility. Monitoring Level backups Incremental backups, Cumulative backup, Complete backups. Monitoring RAC Instances & Databases. Monitoring ASM Disk groups usage and adding Candidate Disks based on requirement. Scheduling the activities requested by the client in appropriate maintenance window. Working on DB decommission related activities. Excellent communication skills, strong analytical logical abilities, problem solving skills and fast learning.
