About A. Lamont Williams
Dr. Williams is an award-winning educator, innovative founder, and Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Williams received his Ph.D. in Sport Management from the College of Education at Florida State University. At UC, Lamont currently teaches graduate Sport Administration courses, and specializes in research related to the intersection of athlete activism, policy development, fashion, and athlete liberation. Dr. Williams is also a consultant and strategist (Savant Siempre, L.L.C.), as well as the Founder/CEO of Siempre Sports. Dr. Williams developed Siempre Sports to both offer professional development opportunities for underserved students and decrease the barriers to entry for those who desire to work in sport. In his work, Dr. Williams has collaborated with notable organisations such as the San Francisco 49ers, Bay FC, San Francisco Giants, Golden State Warriors, San Jose Earthquakes, Sacramento Kings, Oakland Athletics, Monterey Bay F.C, San Jose Sharks, LinkedIn, Adobe, Celsius, and Adidas.

At the Siempre Sports Academy, the workshops will serve as a place where students will learn the soft skills necessary to be competitive on the sport job market, as well as a space where students can network with other underrepresented students.
