As an Accounting Manager at Red Ventures I performing general ledger accounting responsibilities related to the month-end close process and financial analysis of accounting data/transactions to identify significant fluctuations for review, accuracy, and correction. Interdepartmental system and process understanding are pillars in the collaboration, efficiency creation, and automation I strive for.During my first years in the work force, I worked with the public accounting firm Elliott Davis as Senior Associate where I focused on Manufacturing and Distribution, Real Estate, Investment Companies, Private Equity Groups, Not-for-Profits and Governmental Entities. As a graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington\'s 2016 and 2017 class, I earned my undergraduate and graduate degree in accounting. While completing my undergraduate degree, I spent 4 months studying abroad at La Universidad de Sevilla in Sevilla, Spain. During this time I was able to pursue my love of traveling and further develop my Spanish skills. Current goals include- Becoming a well rounded manager who develops autonomous thinking staff, implements process improvement, and creates a safe environment for collaboration and learning.
