Managing Trenchless Rehabilitation projects in Atlantic Canada, including cured in place pipelining, robotic cutting (reinstatements, obstruction removal, high pressure cleaning), spot repairs, lateral lining, manhole rehabilitation, and grouting.• Managing the operations of the Household Special Waste services for Halifax Regional Municipality. Responsible for environmental compliance in accordance with legislation, public education, waste reduction programs and services.• Working with hazardous materials, classification of hazardous wastes, and remediation of contaminated sites (soil water, and waste). • Following Transportation of Dangerous Goods regulations, completing Bills of Lading and Manifests for transport of wastes, and understanding classification of dangerous goods.• Responsible for assisting in the execution of all aspects of assigned projects, and acting as a first point of contact, keeping lines of communication open and clear. • Ensuring on-site operations are conducted in accordance with corporate policies and procedures within permit conditions and to customer specifications. • Assisting with technical proposal writing and project planning, developing and executing work plans aimed at keeping projects on schedule and on budget. • Developing and performing job task assessments, field level hazard assessments and safe work procedures. • Reporting all incidents, safety infractions, non-compliance issues and participating in the investigation and development of corrective actions. • Maintaining efficient day-to-day operations, and for the effective supervision of the field employees. • Working closely with managers to optimize operations and retain business and developing new solutions to meet client needs.• Involved in routine contract service requests, and many out of scope requests. Generating monthly, quarterly and yearly reports as required per the Standing Offers.
