Jarred honey from bottling tanks and delivered honey to local farms, individual clients, and restaurants. Administered honey harvests, spinning out honey from an extractor. Performed hive splits in order to multiply a local surviving strain of honeybees to the North Fork of Long Island. Installed new queen bees into queenless hives to promote order in the apiary. Treated hives for varroa mites using oxalic acid to promote hive preparation through winter. Built bee frames for future hive use. Filmed and edited beekeeping content for North Fork Promise Land Apiaries social media page,@promiselandapiaries.
