Ensuring smooth day to day processing by the team as well as ensuring setup of suitable processing controls for the unit, reviewing Service Level Agreements signed with the clients/ internal units, ensuring that the SLA’s/ TAT’s are met always, timely processing by the company deadlines, conducting periodic process & operational risk reviews, providing appropriate guidance to team & setting up controls to reduce operational risk.• As a part of Corporate Action team (Since Dec 2005), grew from a Manager Operations to VP Operations within a span of 9 years, and gained expertise and in-depth knowledge of Corporate Actions and SWIFT standards along with working exposure to other sub custody operations like Settlements, Tax and Foreign Exchange Desks.• Also, been a part of Depository Section prior to Dec 2005, of the HSBC Custody and besides BAU operations was involved in process review, review of ever changing regulatory guidelines and managing external audits by the depositories.• Successfully completed a short-term assignment for a role in Business Risk & Controls Management at the Asia Pacific Head Office in Hong Kong (from Dec 2014- March 2015), performed exceedingly well combining the operations knowledge to help review the existing control functions and setup other new controls to reduce the risk in operations and business.
