ABOUT SAURIN SHAH

Hi, I am an accomplished leader with 11+ years of experience in project management and software development, with primary focus on enhancing customer productivity. Throughout my career, I have excelled consistently in diverse roles: Test, Developer, Architect, Project Lead and Product owner. My current role is a Project Lead & Senior Software Engineer, where I lead a few software engineers for 2-3 month long projects. Essentially, I Interview customers, understand their pain points, gather requirements. Define success criteria, Define KPIs, Create User stories, Create Tasks, Run SCRUMS, Launch project successfully. I’m not only used to wearing many hats, but also sincerely enjoy it. I am customer obsessed and have bias for action. As a result, I thrive in fast paced environment with good agile engineering practices. For instance, I initiated a process change in my team to deploy code to production every other day, and it has worked out great for us.I am fascinated with entrepreneurship and start-ups, and continuously keep myself busy by working on side projects. It has helped me to keep up-to-date with lean entrepreneurship fundamentals and latest developments in the start-up arena. To gain formal business knowledge, I joined the Technology Management MBA program at Foster School of Business, University of Washington. I will be graduating in June 2016. I am excited that my study group chose one of my side projects for our capstone project, and we have created a start-up to launch the product Agile software development, SaaS, SCRUMS management, product management, product design, user empathy, usability testing, wireframing, user stories, prototyping, A/B testing, and data analysis.
