A dynamic professional with 20+ years of QA experience in Commodities Trading at Trafigura, Exchange/Client Connectivity at Lehman Brothers/Nomura and with Morgan Stanley (STP Systems).* Currently working in a Quality Assurance Head role for Trading IT division at Trafigura where I have the ownership of entire QA space on functional and automation on Trafigura’s strategic trading platform. This includes introducing QA processes for system as well as integration testing, owning QA of releases E2E including UAT Support, supporting Patch cycles and future release planning/resourcing. This is a complex environment that needs deep functional know-how, dynamic and on-the-feet decision making in a model with extremely aggressive milestones and dates.* Successfully built server side automation team from scratch which automated complex P&L, Pricing and Risk validations using a framework which included time-warp based testing.* Owned the complete E2E process of 3 vendor transition initiatives for functional and automation teams. Was also involved in transformation initiative for a critical phase of a project that needed skill and team distribution overhaul.* The model followed is a lean model with 95% resource on vendor side where I work with 3 different vendor partners.* Instrumental in go-live of different business lines in Trafigura on the strategic platform, viz. Metals, Concentrates, Coal, Iron Ore, Domestic Business (LATAM).* Introduced rec process for key areas to ensure we have right checks and balances before system goes live.* Instrumental in the successful QA and signoff of Euronext UTP go-live, LSE and Turquoise Millenium go-live, CHIX and BATS Sponsored Access go-live, Nasdaq OMX OUCH Europe go-live, Instinet go-live, Spanish Brokers’ go-live, ultra-low latency DMA product go-live, go-live of Asia region in ASX Cash Equities, Malaysia and Korea Futures.* Led the QA team for E2E QA testing of the CFD (Contracts for Differences) LCH go-live for Nomura (as a Financing Broker) successfully.* Proficiency in backend testing and automation in perl and shell scripting.* Worked as a Consultant/Single Point of Contact for the Asia Pacific Region, on STP middle office system (Trades Completion Testing) at Morgan Stanley, Tokyo for 1.25 years.* Instrumental in the setup, training and the launch of Horizontal Services for STP at TCS-MS.
