Responsible for preparing, analyzing, and distributing daily cash forecast.\\\\n• Assist in processing wire transfers.\\\\n• Work closely with the billing department to ensure Accounts Receivable is accounted for appropriately.\\\\n• Independently perform weekly account reconciliations associated with revenue recognition.\\\\n• Record all necessary journal entries related to cash, accounts receivable and tax activities.\\\\n• Independently work to pull support together for all government reporting requirements and tax filings associated with property and escheatment.\\\\n• Record all necessary journal entries related to pension activities and support all pension-related audits.\\\\n• Ensure monthly close work is complete in accordance with closing schedule, including all necessary month-end journal entries.\\\\n• Independently perform balance sheet and income statement fluctuation analyses to ensure accuracy, perform route cause analysis, and perform necessary adjustments.\\\\n• Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports as required.\\\\n• Prepare monthly account reconciliations on balance sheet accounts. Perform route cause analysis for outliers/inconsistencies and recommend adjustments.\\\\n• Actively participate and support interim and annual financial audits (Financial Statements, Uniform Guidance, etc.).\\\\n• Develop and maintain critical policy and procedure documentation related to specific accounting processes.\\\\n• Support ERP system upgrades.\\\\n• Actively collaborate with team members and other internal stakeholders within finance organization.\\\\n• Performing other accounting duties and supporting other staff as required or assigned.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
