About Saurabh Usgaonkar
I am a chemical engineer by training having obtained my PhD at the Univ. of Minnesota and BTech at the Indian Institute of Technology. My areas of expertise include Applied Mathematics, Fluid Mechanics, Process Dynamic Simulation, Data-driven Modeling, and Polymer Science. I am passionate about working in the cleaner energy landscape and applying my skills to solving problems in this field. I am involved in various projects driving technology development and operational excellence in hydrogen production, ammonia transport and storage, carbon capture and sequestration, and smart monitoring of process/equipment.With a strong background in mathematical modeling and fundamental chemical engineering combined with some hands-on experience working in lab (incl. experimental design and execution) and process plants, I bring to the table a holistic and practical approach to solving technical problems.
