About Saurabh Kumar

I received the B. Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Patna, in 2020. Towards the end of my bachelor\'s, I got the opportunity to work on some interesting problems in children\'s speech and speaker recognition. It motivated me to further explore the real-world problems in the area of speech processing.Currently at the SPIRE Lab, IISc Bengaluru, I have been working towards the development of automatic speech recognition systems and their resources in low-resourced Indian languages. The development of speech technologies in India is still in the rudimentary phase and lots of challenges are involved. I love applying myself to solve them and learning new skills and gaining invaluable experience in the process.

This pipeline plays a pivotal role in the processing and quality assessment of data collected through the VAANI initiative, ensuring a robust and high-quality dataset for our ongoing work.
