Currently at AWS Redshift, I focus on building robust storage engines using C++ and C. It’s been an incredible journey—one that has allowed me to contribute to large-scale distributed systems while honing my skills in analytical databases. I love tackling complex problems head-on and finding elegant solutions that make a real difference.Before my time at AWS, I had the opportunity to develop microservices and web services for four years. One of my proudest moments was architecting the first in-house “Pricing Engine” platform for J.C. Penney from scratch. This project not only challenged my technical abilities but also taught me how to collaborate effectively with diverse teams to deliver impactful results.During my brief stint as an intern at Visa, I participated in a hackathon where we created a mobile app for contactless payments that supported around 3 million small businesses during the pandemic. It was rewarding to see how technology can help communities thrive even in tough times.I’m also passionate about innovation beyond my day job; I once worked on a Gesture Recognition System that’s now used in shopping malls for interactive games!
