About Saurabh Verma

I have a professional experience of 2.5 years working on AI/ML technologies. In my current role, i have contributed in the development of state of the art text OCRpipeline. I have performed various experimentation utilizing capabilities of various deeplearning models for both detection and recognition tasks. I was also responsible forproductionizing the pipeline by utilizing the capabilities of Docker, Kubernetes, Serverlessfunctions, Knative and terraform. I have also developed methods so as to further improvethe performance of the pipeline, notably i was able to improve the performance by upto50%.In my previous role, i have engineered various data variables from raw information reportssuch as Experian Credit Information report, Perfios bank statement report etc, utilized thesedata variables to develop robust machine learning models and successfully deployed thesemodels to live environment. As a part of research and development team, i haveundertaken and successfully completed projects utilizing latest object detection algorithmssuch as MaskRCNN to develop Deep Learning models which increased the accuracy of textextraction (from document images) from 60-68 % through traditional OCR to 85-92 %.
