I love solving Business problems by creating Analytical solutions using data. Love working in environments where data is looked like an asset and not merely a cost center. Very passionate about mentoring junior analysts with what I have learnt over the years and share with Analytics community. What don’t I particularly enjoy much? Maybe selling myself but here goes. 7 quick things about me: 1) Have builds 100+ reports, dashboards, semantic layers which include those that have been used at Board meetings, C-suites weekly review, Annual Commissions, P&L Analysis, Invoicing, Corporate Forecasting, Quarterly Business Review (QBR) etc. My fav perhaps is the Daily Executive view which ran for 10 years and was the first thing C suite usually saw to start the day. 2) My hands-on background gives me an edge to understand the challenge and triage on when/where to use Database, Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, Business Analytics or Data Science as the right solution. 3) Have set up over 10 Analytics teams, both as Center of Excellent (COE) model as hub and spoke or hybrid models. Have led multiple M&A efforts for Analytics deliverables including KPIs (Key Performance Indicator) framework. Have been individual contributor as well as managed team size of 100+ across multiple GEOs. 4) Have created multiple Business case, Mission Statements to show value of Analytics. Have created framework from ground-up, including setting up Business Intelligence & ETL tooks, and have led multiple efforts to integrate, upgrade environments for sunset or M&A reasons. Equally comfortable talking to a C-suite as I am with a Power Analyst. I have been in multiple Leadership roles and enjoy mentoring team. 5) Continuously looking to improve on technology and stay current in a very fluid tech-stack. Was one of the earliest adopters of Cloud offerings and SaaS products and influenced LifeLock\'s decision to move from on-prem to Cloud infrastructure (AWS). 6) Currently enrolled in 13 months Tech Executive Education track for Chief Analytics Officer by Berkley Haas, expected to finish in June 2023. Past accreditations include 8 weeks Managerial Finance by London School of Economics in 2020- & 12-weeks Digital Marketing Analytics course by MIT Sloan in 2019. 7) On a personal note, I did absolute minimum with computers till I was handpicked by a software company and put into Business Intelligence track.
