Finance Controller during preopening.During which was responsible for setting up the finance department of the property and hiring of the team. Has successfully implemented Sun and Material control system. Have been instrumental in procuring all licenses for the property and handling all tax related matters for the property.Established the month end, budgeting and forecasting process for the property.In December 2011 redesignated as Asst. Director of Finance of the property and recieved the manager of the month for January 2012 at JW Marriott Chandigarh.Handling the over all responsibility :1) Owners relationship: Has been handling the owners relationship at JW Marriott CHD.2) Purchase : Has introduced check book accounting to JW Marriott Hotel Chandigarh bringing in cost saving.3) Budgeting : Was heading the budgeting process for the calender year 2012 & 2013 for the property.4) Finance : Is handling the overall operational incharge of finance department.Effective 21st May 2013 have joinned JW Marriott Bengaluru as the Finance Controller for the property It is a pre - opening oppurtunity same as my last property, however the role and responsibilities are much broader than the previous assignment.Has been nominated twice for Manager of the month in Sep\'13 and Feb\'14. Received Manager of the month Mar\'14Promoted to Director of Finance for JW Marriott Bangalore in 2015 : held the position from 2015 to July 2017Relocation to Kochi as multi property Director of Finance for Marriott in July 2017Relocation to Jaipur as Director of Finance for JW Marriott Jaipur resort and spa in September 2018Promoted to the present position of Cluster Director of Finance for Samhi Marriott properties across various locations in India ( Total inventory across 13 properties 1867 rooms)
