I am a colorectal and geriatric surgeon motivated by the belief that exceptional care begins with understanding what matters most to each patient. Inspired by the resilience of older adults and the power of teamwork, I focus on advancing surgical care that blends innovation, empathy, and precision. As Chief of Colorectal Surgery at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, I’m focused on building programs that unite disciplines to improve outcomes and preserve patient-centered care.Beyond my institutional role, I collaborate nationally and internationally through leadership in the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons and the International Society of Geriatric Oncology, and through research with the CDC-funded BEACON initiative. My goal is to advance a culture of smarter, more compassionate surgery that empowers patients, supports teams, and redefines value in care.
