FULL TIME HUMAN, PART TIME PSYCHOLOGIST. with on-going personal work involving deconstruction of self and, decontamination of the mind, this is what Post (or on-going)-Therapy Saumya describes herself as. Yes, I take therapy, even though I\'m a therapist myself. If that doesn\'t say \"I practice what I preach\", I don\'t know what will. Being Authentic in my personal and professional life is a value I hold to my core, along with being Humorous which makes life more colourful, and Flexible, which makes way for acceptance, compassion, and exploration. As a therapist, I use an eclectic model of working, by integrating a Relational and Queer Affirmative approach with evidence-based modalities like Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Motivational Interviewing, and Yoga. My core interests lie in working with Body-Image and Relationship Issues, LGBTQIA+ Community, Anxiety and Sleep Disorders (Insomnia).
