I\'m a first-generation American. I\'m grateful that my Cuban parents choose to settle in the United States in the 1960s. I was the first in my family to graduate from college. After college, I earned a master\'s degree and doctorate, and more importantly, I fell in love with higher education and getting to work with talented faculty and staff on behalf of our students.
