ABOUT SAUL DICKINSON
Throughout my life I\'ve always been passionate about building, fixing and generally understanding how things work. In the earlier stages of my career I satisfied these interests in various software engineering roles and now continue to do so within the corporate and organizational context.Currently, I lead the software division of the cybersecurity unit at diconium auto where I have had the opportunity to grow the team from inception to over 30 professionals. Our unit covers the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements and regulations, embedded development, automated security testing, penetration testing, project-related IT and (product) PKI infrastructure and CVE analysis.I have worked extensively in software, systems, and security engineering across the fields of automotive infotainment, network-based surveillance, online media and banking. I have expertise in C, C++, Python, shell scripting and operating systems, along with a broad (and in some cases deep) understanding of cryptographic and cybersecurity concepts, processes, and technologies.My focus is on building and maintaining happy and productive technical teams - maintaining a close eye on both the human and the commercial aspects of the business.I have extensive international experience, having been based in Germany since 2013 and with previously living and working in Australia, the UK, Singapore and China.
