In this role, I am responsible for leading and building the Accounting Business Partner team in Bangalore from the ground up. This team plays a critical role within Merck, overseeing key functions such as month-end closing, preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS, and coordination with auditors to ensure timely audit closures. Additionally, we actively contribute to strategic initiatives including mergers and acquisitions, business structuring, ERP implementation, and process automation, supporting Merck’s financial integrity and operational efficiency.
