Accountable for planning, scheduling, executing and supervising the Irrigation activities of entire ICRISAT Farm of around 300 hectares Planning, scheduling, supervising the Labor operations, manual weeding and thinning operations. Responsible for maintaining the farm health of ICRISAT. Looking after the Bird scaring guns and manual bird scaring activity. Streamlining Monthly wise billing and reports generation of Irrigation and Labor operations. Accountable for identifying and mobilizing the farmers for their agricultural production enhancement by scaling up the knowledge and technology. Strengthening rural livelihood through spreading improve, eco-friendly package of practices in agriculture and irrigation. Planning various agricultural activities estimated requirements of various inputs and other resources including seeds, fertilizers, pesticides and manpower and ensured availability thereof to support the farming program. Identifying & preparing agricultural projects for medium and long term loan assistance for agricultural and rural development.
