PTC Executive Dashboard: This dashboard displays multiple KPIs which helps CN Executives assessing health of Train operations and take decisions to improve KPIs. This project includes data ingestion from multiple PTC applications, standardize and join the data and compute required KPIs. This dashboard serves as a single source of all KPIs required for FRA regulations and helps executive team to take decisions to improve.COBALT: This application serves as a single pane of information in realtime for PTC support team to analyze the current status of each train/locomotive and help in taking decisions in resolving the support issues. This data is extracted from different sources of PTC applications, process/standardize the data and join the data and identify the issues and highlight them in the application. Currently working on creating realtime alerts for any anomalies identified during the train runs.Before this application support teams were looking into multiple applications manually to establish connection and identify the issue. This helped support team to reduce analysis time from 24 min average to 4.5 min average.PTC: PTC is a Safety and Regulatory Project. PTC, Positive Train Control system is an advanced system designed to automatically stop a train before certain accidents occur.• Lead Data Design team, designing Data flows from source databases to Raw, Prepared, Trusted zones in Datalake and undertake all Data Acquisition, Profiling, Cleansing activities and maintain Data Lake• Design flows for Full load, Incremental load and from different types of source databases like SQL, NoSQL, Oracle, ESB EMP message Queues, Text log files, CSV, JSON, XML, parquet files. • Working with environments like Databricks, Hadoop & Azure and technologies like Spark - Scala/PySpark, HIVE, ADX, SnowFlake, NiFi for data Analysis.

Over 20 years of IT experience and last 15 years focussed in Data Analytics. Well versed with Cloudera, Databricks environments.Currently working with Canadian National Railways in over 5 years, with prior experience in working with clients like Shoppers Drug Mart for two years and Canadian Pacific Rail for 5+ years in Calgary and for GAP US.Data Engineering/Data Analytics: With 10+ Years of Technical Project Manager/Lead experience, designed large, complex data flow pipelines that meet business requirements. Analyzed data from multiple sources and created Optimal Technical System/Data Pipeline designs. Performed ETL/ELT data operations both Batch and Streaming from a wide variety of data sources like Kafka Queues, Oracle, SQL, JSON, CSV, XML, parquet formats using Hadoop NiFi, Spark, HIVE, SOLR in Hadoop, Azure, Databricks environments.
