As the Founder of Chicka Litti, I embarked on a mission to redefine Bihari cuisine and bring it to the national and global stage. While India is known for its diverse regional delicacies, Bihari food remained underrepresented in the QSR industry. I saw an opportunity to change this narrative by pioneering a modern, scalable, and innovative fast-food brand centered around our signature dish—Chicken Litti—a flavorful twist on the traditional Litti Chokha, transforming it from a snack into a wholesome, protein-rich meal. What started as a passion-driven initiative has now grown into a thriving QSR chain with 80 branches across 50 cities, generating employment for over 300 people, including equal opportunities for women and cross-border employment for Nepali workers. Through standardized recipes, advanced food technology (retort & IQF), a tech-driven operational system, and a strong digital presence with over 1 million followers, we have positioned Chicka Litti as India’s first major Bihari fast-food brand. Our current turnover stands at ₹4 crores annually through direct sales, and we are set to scale this to ₹100 crores in the next five years by expanding our franchise network, launching FMCG products, and entering international markets. Our vision is not just about selling food—it’s about creating a legacy for Bihari cuisine, much like how Biryani represents Hyderabad or Vada Pav represents Mumbai. We are committed to innovation, sustainability, and community-building, ensuring that Bihari flavors are recognized and celebrated worldwide.
