ABOUT SATYAM SAHIL
I am Satyam Sahil, an undergraduate student of economics at St. Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad, with a strong academic foundation in economic theory, policy analysis and research methodology. My core interest lies in evidence-based policymaking, economic governance and the intersection of research and real-world outcomes. I recently completed a funded research project analyzing the socioeconomic impact of government policies and their broader socioeconomic implications. This experience deepened my understanding of policy evaluation, strengthened my skills in both qualitative and quantitative research and enhanced my ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. My academic journey includes the publication of 1 book chapter and 1 research paper. I presented my research poster at a national conference and attended an international conference sponsored by ICSSR, where I presented my research paper. My work spans diverse themes, including public finance, disaster economics, rural development and financial behavior in marginalized communities. Proficient in tools such as SPSS, JASP, Jamovi and Excel, I bring a data-driven approach to policy and economic analysis. I am actively seeking opportunities to collaborate on research initiatives that aim to inform and improve policy design and implementation.
