HVAC Control Engineer Duties: 1. Determine DDC equipment needs and parts required for customer’s system performance and pro-actively identify solution improvements 2. Work with our integration group to integrate security, power, fire and CCTV 3. Provide technical guidance to diagnose control system concerns and ensure occupancy comfort 4. Troubleshoot local controllers, communication wiring, programs and schedules to identify concerns and determine corrective action 5. Ensure proper set-points, schedules and sequences of operation are correctly programmed 6. Provide timely response to diagnose source of customer concern, analyze system requirements, test components, and recommend corrective action, including on-call rotation and emergency support as required 7. Perform inspections and preventive maintenance tasks for the control systems including point-to-point check-out, sensor calibration, and software back-up Perform or supervise installations, start-ups & commissioning, as needed. Update resource allocations, progress and date changes to publish a weekly master schedule for all active projects 9. Evaluate scope changes, additional work orders and elements 10. Implement and administer field project controls including change order management, productivity and project closeout 11. Generation and implementation of control sequences, control drawing, programming and end user graphics.
