ABOUT SATYA MOHAPATRA

Currently working as Senior Principal Investments - Real Estate at Piramal Capital and Housing Finance since August 2022. Prior to this, he served as Executive Director - Investments for the Real Estate Credit Fund at Everstone Capital Advisors (P) Ltd from May 2021. With over 27 years of cumulative experience, he has a strong background in Retail Assets, Mid Corporate, and Wholesale Banking. He holds a Commerce graduate degree from Utkal University and an MBA from Pune University, and he is an alumnus of the INSEAD Leadership Program for Senior Executives, focusing on General Management, Leadership, and Strategy. His previous roles include being Group President at Yes Bank, where he served as Deputy National Head - for West & South in the Urban Infra Banking Group, concentrating on Urban Realty, HealthCare, Education, and Hospitality sectors. Additionally, he held positions as Business Head of the Indian Financial Institution Banking Group. Before joining Yes Bank, Satya worked as Senior Vice-President for Centrum Capital, dealing with Equity Capital Markets and Private Equity Investment Structuring & Investment Analysis in the Real Estate and Hospitality sector. He also played a key role in establishing and growing the Home finance, LAP, and Construction Finance business as Business Head at Reliance Capital Ltd. Prior to that, he had valuable experience at ICICI Bank, where he held various roles in the Housing Finance Group, including Risk Management, Product, and Sales. He was also deputed to ICICI Bank UK Ltd in London as the Head for Retail Assets. Satya\'s career began with PNB Housing Finance Ltd in 1996 as a Management Trainee before moving to ICICI Bank in the year Throughout his career, he has been involved in investment origination, structuring, negotiation, monitoring, and exit, showcasing his expertise in the field of Real Estate and Banking.
