ABOUT SATWIK TIWARI
As a postgraduate student in Geophysics at IIT Kharagpur with a strong academic foundation and hands-on experience in seismic data interpretation, I bring a multidisciplinary approach to Earth science challenges. My recent internship at Cairn Oil & Gas (Vedanta Ltd.) focused on fault/fracture interpretation and volcanic reservoir characterization. I’ve also undergone training at CSIR-NGRI and have been actively involved in field and laboratory-based geophysical research, including my thesis on magnetotelluric dimensionality analysis of the EGMB region.Alongside academics, I’ve consistently embraced leadership, creativity, and team engagement, serving as President of the SEG Student Chapter at IIT Kharagpur and earning multiple recognitions for academic excellence. With a background in anchoring, podcasting, sports, and performing arts, I take pride in being an all-rounder who values both scientific rigor and holistic personal growth.
