With a vision to produce 1 million tonnes of copper, Vedanta Copper is on track to achieve a production capacity of 460 KTPA by the end of 2027 through its operations across India and the Middle East. Together, the business plays a critical role in supporting infrastructure development, manufacturing growth, and electrification ambitions across key markets. Vedanta Nickel, with a vision to produce 60 KTPA of nickel in India, currently has a production capacity of 7 KTPA. It continues to strengthen India’s position in critical minerals while supporting emerging sectors such as electric mobility, energy storage, and advanced manufacturing. Copper enables efficient power transmission and clean energy integration. Nickel supports high-performance alloys and battery ecosystems. Together, they form the backbone of resilient infrastructure and next-generation mobility.
