Hi, I\'m Satish Kumar, Lighting TD | 8 Years in Feature Film VFX & CG | DNEG As a Lighting Technical Director at DNEG with over 7 years of experience, I’ve contributed to some of the industry’s most visually ambitious and Oscar-winning films, including Dune: Part Two, Fast X, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, and Shazam! Fury of the Gods. I specialize in crafting cinematic, photorealistic lighting that enhances storytelling, I’m always looking to push the boundaries of what\'s visually possible on screen. I collaborate closely with fellow lighters and Hollywood supervisors to ensure every frame meets both creative and technical expectations. My workflow expertise spans Maya, Clarisse, Houdini Solaris, Katana, and Nuke, with a strong focus on light rig development, sequence-based shot matching, HDRI cleanups, and look development. I\'m also experienced in Linux-based pipeline configuration and scripting through Mate Terminal. A passionate and creative individual with strong expertise in both Computer Graphics (CG) and Visual Effects (VFX). I completed a professional course in Computer Graphics from Pixelloid Studios, where I developed my skills as a 3D Generalist specializing in CG and VFX. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Andhra University, which provided me with a solid foundation in programming and technical problem-solving.
