Monthly Planning, scheduling, sourcing & procurement of Rubber, Plastic and Fastners parts from suppliers using SAP MM as a major tool.• Planning the material for Spare Parts Division with co-ordination with Spares Parts Division and supplier.•Forecasting of materials (as per the necessity) and communicating with the suppliers for the smooth and timely procurement.•Timely action on indent (for any new part development identify supplier, sending development enquiry to identified sources, quotation to be received from the supplier, cost negotiation and approval making).•Costing of the Rubber, Plastic and Fastners parts (as per company norms, negotiation with supplier, primary cost settling and approval making). • Co-ordination with the supplier for component cost revision as quoted by supplier (primary costing, further co-ordination with price panel for final component cost revision).• Timely action on modification in component as per modified drawing (new drawings to be sent to supplier, quotation to be received as per drawing, tool cost quotation if required, implementation of modified components, clearance from VQMC dept. for acceptance approval).• Responsible for handling Quality issues (Incoming, Line and Final) along with the Quality team.• Responsible for Inventory control by systematic way of procurement (considering class of the component and the stock at the store).• To resolve the Supplier Payment issues by co-ordinating with audit, finances and accounts (Procurement to Pay cycle).
