JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (Cohesity & Tivoli Storage Manager):Daily Health checks of Cohesity clusters, storage and backup protection jobs.Registering new servers (physical/VM) and adding them in to right protection jobs.Creating and assigning new policies if require for prod and dev environment.Worked on restores for file & folder level and entire VM restores.Worked on daily backup job failures and Troubleshooting the issues based on priority.Worked with vendor for software and hardware related cases.Perform tasks necessary to fulfill SLA agreements with end-users regarding backup/restore scheduling.Daily activities like health checking of TSM servers & DB, Recovery Log and storage pool utilization. Worked On SERVER process like Expiration, Reclamation, Collocation, Storage Pool Migration of TAPE Storage Pool Volumes. Registering new nodes to the Policy Domains and Associating schedules to them. Working Knowledge on administrative schedule like dB backup, backupStg, reclamation, migration, and client schedules, if any failures working on it based on priority Media management by using DRM –Checking Scratch Count of Library Troubleshooting the issues related to drives and paths. Worked on restores requests of TSM and Generating reports and documentation of all daily operations and sending it Management
