Scope included conceptual design and construction-phase support for over 200 steel poles spanning more than 20 miles of overhead power lines across challenging terrain, while maintaining technical excellence and adherence to budget.• Assist in developing design criteria in accordance with industry-standard design codes and client specifications, including construction, safety and environmental requirements.• Assist in the preparation and documentation of specifications, calculations, drawings and construction tenders, project proposals and contracts.• Utilize advanced skillsets in modeling transmission line in the PLS suite.• Prepare transmission route alignments and perform structural analysis on hardware assemblies and conductors.• Create structure detail drawings, liaise with clients and contractors as required. • Coordinate across different disciplines and permitting agencies and utilize project management skills.• Develop assemblies, framing, loading and design drawings for wood, Fiber reinforced polymer, concrete and steel transmission structures.
