   Project- Independent Engineering Services for the project between Sethiyathopu and Cholapuram on NH45Cfrom Km. 65.950 to Km. 116.440 under Hybrid Annuity ModeResponsibilities-1. The two 2-lane Kollidam River bridges have 19 spans of 50m and one span of 29.2m and erection of super structure is by Span by Span launching of segmental box girder.2. 4 major bridges (pile foundation with diameter - 1500mm), 8 grade separated structures having span of 30mts, 13 nos of VUP and 26 minor bridges and around 64 box structures3. Conversant with the entire sequence of Launching operation, Casting, and Gluing of segments, Verification of stressing calculations, Witnessing the stressing activities, Grouting of tendons, the tests on grout samples and lowering of the span.4. Reviewing of the Contractor submissions like Method statement, Material submittals, Verification of payment certificates, Inspection of works, Safety monitoring and suggesting improvements to prevent any LTI.5. For other major bridges, the super structure is supported on precast post tensioned I girders, which are casted on beds. All the activities like installation of rebar’s, formwork, concreting, stressing, and grouting are carried out at site and then erected. The bearings used in the project were basically Elastomeric and Spherical type.
