ABOUT SATHYA PRABHURAJ
As a Senior at SJSU, I am pursuing a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, a field that combines my passion for engineering and medicine. I have acquired decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills through my coursework. I am also actively involved in student organizations that align with my values and goals. I serve as the President of the Hindu Student Council (HSC) at SJSU, where I facilitate communication and collaboration between the national HSC and our local chapter, and oversee the planning and execution of events that promote Hindu culture and awareness. Additionally, I am the Professional Development Chair of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) at SJSU, where I organize and coordinate opportunities for students to shadow engineers in various disciplines, and enhance their skills and competencies through workshops, challenges, and reviews. Through these roles, I have demonstrated strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, and have contributed to the growth and success of both organizations.
