Oversee retail operations including buying, merchandising and licensing to maximize profitability for the Museum. As part of the Executive Leadership Team, study the scope of upcoming exhibitions with the Chief Curator to create a targeted buying strategy that will integrate the Museum visitor experience with that of the Store at MAD. To that end, establishing relationships with makers around the world who are working within or adjacent to the medium of craft that is on view. Currently lead the effort to expand the category of licensed products to allow for meaningful, income generating opportunities for both the MAD and our artisans.
