About Sathya Asokan

I have been working in the largest power generating company in India for the past several years. I started my career in Planning & Systems after completing my graduation from National Institute of Technology, Trichy. While sailing from a green field project to a brown field project, my professional exposure in Planning and Systems department majorly included Project Management, system implementation, process improvement projects, budgeting and monitoring of systems. Subsequently, I had shifted to Business Excellence wherein I obtained ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certification for Solapur STPP Project and started the Quality and Professional circle movement in the plant.I had also in parallel contributed in the area of Learning and Development by coordinating various training programs for Regional Learning Institute at Solapur. In the year 2019, I had shifted to Human Resources and have had exposure in Public Relations, Welfare, Participative Foras, Human Resource Development, Performance Evaluation, Manpower planning (at project level), Time Office, Employee benefits etc.I am an extrovert and a people person. My core strength include interpersonal and communication skills which enable me to work effectively as a team player and also delegate to subordinates. I truly believe Team work makes the Dream work and that the core of any organization\'s success is its employees.Additionally, I have a diploma in Interior design and the process of being creative provides me zeal and enthusiasm. I have designed magazines and brochures which have won laurels during my tenure at Solapur. I also enjoy doodling and drawing. I have humbly stepped into the space of Coaching wherein I enjoy being able to hold space for people to dwell into their inner strengths and inner being.
