Responsible for the design, delivery, and management of electrical systems across critical water infrastructure, manufacturing, transport and defence sectors, the duties include, Develop and review electrical designs, including single-line diagrams, schematics, protection schemes, and cable schedules for LV/ELV/HV systems using PowerCAD & AutoCAD Electrical. Prepare technical specifications, design documentation, and compliance reports adhering to AS/NZS and client-specific standards. Perform load calculations, fault level analysis, protection coordination, and cable sizing studies using industry-standard tools. Design and document electrical distribution boards, motor control centers (MCCs), switchboards, and field instrumentation layouts. Lead and contribute to project delivery from concept through detailed design, FAT, installation support, commissioning, and project close-out. Collaborate with project managers, system integrators and clients to ensure design integration and smooth project execution. Conduct site inspections, verification of electrical installations, and provide engineering support during construction and commissioning phases. Implement risk assessments, HAZOP/HAZID reviews, and ensure all designs meet health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
