About Sathwik Bandi
I am a graduate student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Portland State University with a strong focus on Design Verification and Computer Architecture. I have built a solid foundation in RTL design and verification, with hands-on experience in SystemVerilog, UVM, and formal verification methodologies. My work primarily involves designing and verifying digital systems, including FIFO architectures, cache subsystems, and protocol-based designs. I have developed verification environments using constrained-random techniques, assertions, and functional coverage to ensure design correctness and reliability. Through projects such as asynchronous FIFO verification, I2C-based memory subsystem validation, and last-level cache simulation with MESI protocol, I have gained practical experience in handling complex verification challenges and debugging hardware systems. I also have a strong understanding of computer architecture concepts, including pipelining, cache coherence, branch prediction, and memory hierarchy design. My experience with architectural simulators and performance analysis has helped me evaluate system-level trade-offs such as CPI, IPC, and prediction accuracy. I am actively seeking opportunities in Design Verification, Validation, and Computer Architecture where I can contribute to building high-performance and reliable hardware systems while continuing to grow as a verification engineer.
