Sathish Sampath is a senior software engineer with 11+ years of experience building large-scale systems, cloud-native services, and applied AI solutions. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Georgia Tech, specializing in Machine Learning.At Amazon, his career began with the AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), where he developed the core AI engine for DMS Serverless and built a credential security system using Secrets Manager. He holds a patent for a “Replication System for Data Migration,” and his ticket analysis platform reduced service tickets by one-third. His architectural optimizations also cut annual operational costs by over $500K by eliminating redundant database updates and automating orphaned resource cleanup.He later designed and delivered the backend for the AWS Mainframe Modernization Application Testing service, launched in 2024. Today, he is a senior leader in the AWS Agentic AI organization, driving modernization of mainframe workloads through agentic AI solutions.Beyond his Amazon work, Sathish has led impactful AI research. At Georgia Tech, he created an Intelligent Ecosystem Analyzer to extract enterprise data and identify industrial trends, which got presented in U.S. Government conferences. He also built the API Ecosystem Analyzer (funded by Google) and the SEC Company Profile Analyzer (funded by Intel and Ford).Earlier, at TCS Research & Innovation, he developed an OCR and NLP–based Information Extraction engine that transformed document processing from months to minutes.Sathish continues to deepen his expertise with 100+ certifications in Generative AI, Agentic AI, spanning LLM integration, prompt engineering, LLMOps, and security.
